[MAGLIA] Cellulose Ribbed Lace Bolero

Do you remember the cellulose yarn I´ve wrote about? (here) This is the first project I´ve made with this 100% organic yarn!
The pattern is very famous: Ribbed Lace Bolero by Kelly Maher!
Cellulose yarn is very particular and it´s also solid, rigid once you´ve knitted....I mean that this yarn keeps the shape of the pattern!
These features make this cellulose yarn perfect for project like this one.
For once, I´ve followed the pattern without make any change....only the measures are different from the original pattern! It´s easy to do and it has been also my first ¨lace¨ work....but I think that in the pattern there is something not so clear, and I´ve found on the net a wonderful woman, Andrea W. Kim, that really help me in some step of the pattern....if you want to do your Ribbed Lace Bolero this blog will help you too!

Ricordate il filato 100% organico (in cellulosa) di cui vi scrivevo poco tempo fa? (qui esattamente)
Ecco, questo e´ il primo progetto estivo che ho eseguito con questo filato, si tratta di uno schema molto molto famoso: il Ribbed Lace Bolero di Kelly Maher.
Di per se´ abbastanza veloce e facile da eseguire, anche se alcuni passaggi non sono chiarissimi, almeno non lo erano per me....cosi´, come sempre, nonna web mi e´ venuta incontro, e ho scovato il blog di una meravigliosa donna, Andrea W. Kim, che ha eseguito questo pattern per noi e ha pensato bene di approfittarne per fare 3 video tutorial proprio su quei passaggi poco chiari! Se volete ripetere questo modello, indubbiamente Andrea vi sara´ di grande aiuto!

Vorrei poi spendere 2 parole ancora su questa cellulosa....e´ un filato abastanza grosso e decisamente estivo. Scorre facilmente sui ferri facilitando il lavoro, una volta lavorato mantiene fedelmente la sua forma, direi che e´ quasi rigido, anche se lavandolo col tempo molto probabilmente si ammorbidira´ anche lui!
Queste caratteristiche secondo me lo rendono perfetto per questo modello in particolare, ma anche per tanti altri modelli su questo genere, e non escludo di poter in futuro utilizzare i gomitoli rimasti per creare un pattern ad hoc!
